Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy describes how we ship orders placed at meeracapsule.com (and its variants meeracapsule.ca, meeracapsule.us). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Where we ship
Meera Capsule currently ships to:
- Canada — all 10 provinces and 3 territories
- United States — 48 contiguous states plus the District of Columbia. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories.
We do not currently ship to other international destinations. If you'd like to be notified when we expand internationally, please join our newsletter.
Order processing
Orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days of receipt, Monday through Friday (excluding Canadian statutory holidays). Orders placed after 2:00 p.m. EST will typically be processed the following business day. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.
Pre-order items will ship by the date noted on the product page. If your order combines pre-order and in-stock items, the entire order ships together when the pre-order item is ready, unless you contact us to request separate shipments (additional shipping charges may apply).
Free shipping in Canada
Standard shipping is free on Canadian orders of CAD $100 or more, in every province and territory. The discount is automatically applied at checkout — no code required. Free shipping applies to the Standard service tier only; Express upgrades remain at their standard rate.

Carriers we use for Canadian shipments include UPS, Canada Post, and Purolator. The carrier assigned to a given order is selected based on destination, weight, and service level.
Free shipping in the United States
Standard shipping is free on U.S. orders of USD $125 or more, to all 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia. The discount is automatically applied at checkout — no code required.

- All U.S. shipping includes all U.S. duties, taxes, and brokerage fees — we pay these on your behalf at customs clearance, so there are no surprise fees at delivery (this is known as Delivered Duty Paid or DDP shipping).
- Available to the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia.
The shipping charge on orders below USD $125 is non-refundable for change-of-mind returns. See our Refund Policy for full details on U.S. returns.
Estimated transit times
Transit times are estimates only and begin after your order has been picked up by the carrier. Transit times are calculated in business days and exclude weekends and holidays.
- Greater Toronto Area (within province): 1–2 business days (Express) or 3–5 (Standard)
- Rest of Ontario and Quebec: 1–2 business days (Express) or 3–7 (Standard)
- Rest of Canada: 1–2 business days (Express) or 3–9 (Standard)
- Continental U.S.: 3–5 business days (DHL Express Worldwide)
Delays may occur due to weather, customs clearance (for U.S. orders), high carrier volume, or events outside our reasonable control. Meera Capsule is not responsible for carrier delays once a parcel has left our studio.
Tracking
Every order includes tracking information sent to your order email when the parcel ships. You can track your shipment using the carrier's tracking page (DHL, UPS, Canada Post, or Purolator depending on the carrier assigned).
Address accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address, we will contact you to confirm the correct address. Customers are responsible for any re-shipping costs incurred to resend the parcel. If you choose not to have the parcel re-sent, we will refund the order total minus original shipping costs.
Lost, stolen, or damaged shipments
Once a parcel has been confirmed delivered by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the recipient. If your tracking shows the package as delivered but you cannot locate it:
- Check with neighbours, building management, or other household members.
- Contact the carrier directly with the tracking number.
- If after 3 business days the package still cannot be located, email team@meeracapsule.com and we will assist you with a carrier claim.

U.S. customs and clearance
Because we ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) to U.S. addresses, all duties, taxes, and customs brokerage fees are pre-paid by Meera Capsule. You will not be asked to pay any additional fees at delivery.
To enable smooth customs clearance, we declare each shipment with the appropriate U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTSUS) code, country of origin, and accurate item description. Most shipments to the U.S. fall under the U.S. Section 321 de minimis threshold (USD $800), which means duty is generally minimal or zero — though we cover any applicable duty regardless.
Pickup or in-person collection
We do not currently offer in-store pickup or in-person order collection. All orders are shipped via the carriers listed above.
